Bio Sketch

Dr. Gao received his Medical Degree from Peking University Health Science Center in Beijing. He continued his education while earning a Master of Public Health Degree from the George Washington University in Washington DC. Dr. Gao completed his Residency in Anesthesiology at West Virginia University in Morgantown, followed by a Fellowship in Pain Management at University of Utah Health Care in Salt Lake City UT.

Dr. Gao is trained and experienced in the most advanced pain techniques including Spinal Cord Stimulator. He is highly skilled in epidural steroid injections, facet blocks, rhizotomies, joint injections and nerve blocks.

In his spare time, Dr. Gao enjoys spending time with his family. He likes to play tennis and soccer with his kids. He also likes to travel with his family.
